professional: currently working as a propmaster (local 44), formerly a buyer for vintage clothing. also known to cocktail waitress, barrista, and all around service industry extrodanaire. journal maker, jewelry maker, solo and group art shows.
i live and work in l.a. but consider austin my home. i am critical and have a loud laugh. i prefer eye contact to e-mail. i love gardens but am afraid of the forest. i was weaned on riot-grrl post-feminists rhetoric and came of age in a kinkos. i'm interested in a solid argument. i'm interested in changing my mind. i'm interested in paying attention, exercising patience, and a good night's sleep. i like animals, food, and nina simone. i read (debrah levy, encarta dictionary), i watch movies (times square, welcome to the doll house) i look at art (tracey emin, diane arbus). i want to be a good version of myself and i want to be up for the challenge. i make art, mostly from found objects, and sometimes people like it. i find inspiration in the inspired and i believe in the tenant lift as you rise. i want to attend sundown because this is exactly the kind of thing i want to do and here you are doing it.
