The Schoolhouse
studies will take many forms, dictated by the inspirations and interests of
the visiting teachers, and the response and desires of the students. This may
include anything related to the design, literary, performing & visual arts,
and tangentially beyond into the sciences and the humanities. We will primarily
be interested in actively engaged, group based, place responsive, non-object
oriented, forms of learning and interaction.
The Schoolhouse
will offer a diverse and dense survey of innovative and experimental
contemporary thought, with over 20 teachers visiting throughout twelve 12 hour
meetings. The development of social, emotional, academic and skill-based intelligence
will be equally valued. The Schoolhouse will provide exposure to a diversity
of ideas and points of view, laying out paths for learning, exploring and curiosity
that may be picked up and followed at any time later in life.

2006 schedule for a list of classes for the first Full Fall Session.
