Terre Parker and Taira Restar are members of Anna Halprin’s Sea Ranch Collective.

Terre Parker is an experimental dancer with ten years of experience leading workshops for ages 1 to 85. She has performed and trained with Anna Halprin since 2003. When Terre was one year old, her mother placed her in the grass and Terre began to dance. Since then, Terre has felt a deep connection with the earth. Through dance she seeks to awaken a similar appreciation in others, and inspire action for environmental sustainability. Her ensemble- Open Experiments- will show its inaugural work this year.

Taira Restar is an artist and arts educator, who interweaves visual arts, dance, story and performance. Taira teaches at the Tamalpa Institute and is Associate Teacher for Anna Halprin. For the past 25 years, Taira has guided art and movement explorations as sources for personal discovery, creative expression and art making.
