DD Dorvillier
{Dancing 9-5} is
a Bessie-award winning dance and performance artist who has created experimental
and multimedia works in New York City since 1989. Her work has been shown internationally,
and in New York venues such as The Kitchen, PS122, and Danspace Project, as
well as in nightclubs, galleries, and unusual environments.?She has taught dance
and performance making all over the world and is affiliated with Movement Research,
as an Artist in Residence, a former co-editor of its Performance Journal, and
co-curator of the Movement Research Festival 2004 and 2005. The premiere of
Nottthing Is Importanttt, her newest long work, will be at The Kitchen, February
2 - 10, 2007.
