Felicia Ballos is a Brooklyn based artist making dances. Her work focuses on the experience of the nature that reveals itself through the capricious gaps of the attempts towards order. Ballos' projects, performances and installations have been presented in art galleries, theaters, in forests, and other public spaces throughout New York City as well as in Miami, Japan, Morocco, France, and Belgium. Her work has included influential collaborations with Flora Wiegmann, Richard Aldrich, Anna Craycroft, Amy Granat, and Robert McNeill. As a performer, Ballos has toured the West Coast with Modern Garage Movement (06, 07 and upcoming this June), danced with Heather Kravas, Jmy Leary, WIL SWANSON/DANCEWORKS, and White Oak Dance Theater.
