Jenny Price is
a writer and environmental historian. Author of Flight Maps: Adventures with
Nature in Modern America, she has been writing about nature in L.A. for the
"Native Intelligence" column at LA Observed, and in the New York Times,
Los Angeles Times, and L.A. Weekly. She writes often about the Los Angeles River
(and gives frequent tours), and about public space and public beach access,
and generally wants to know how sustainably and equitably we inhabit the natural
world. She currently lives on Venice Beach, where she is working on her new
book 13 Ways of Seeing Nature in L.A.
