featuring some favorite friends and local artists like Lisa Anne Auerbach &amp; Robby Herbst,\u00a0Jedediah Caesar,\u00a0Eve Fowler, Matthias Merkel Hess,\u00a0Joel Kyack &amp; Michael Decker,\u00a0Carter Mull,\u00a0Ren\u00e9e Petropoulos,\u00a0Ry Rocklen,\u00a0Erika Vogt,\u00a0plus old friend and college classmate Katie Grinnan who presented her ambitious new project<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kcet.org\/arts\/artbound\/counties\/los-angeles\/mt-wilson-hosts-art-show-knowledges.html\" target=\"_blank\"> Astrology Orchestra<\/a>\u00a0featurning handmade instruments\u00a0based on astrological signs and planets&#8230;which we hear will soon be traveling &#8211; apropriately enough &#8211; to Joshua Tree&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.integratron.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Integretron<\/a> &#8211; whose design is based on &#8216;the\u00a0telepathic directions from extraterrestrials&#8230;.originally designed by (George) Van Tassel as a rejuvenation and time machine&#8230;the only all-wood, acoustically perfect sound chamber in the U.S.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;not to be confused with that other thing going on over there in Italy &#8211;
