…the residence of the British Ambassador to Italy was actually the highlight of my visit for lunch today, where I came to hear about their plans for a new children’s edible garden on the grounds – which feature a magnificent ancient Roman aqueduct running through the center – and for the family to start growing food on their endless terraces inspired by my own Roman rooftop experiments, but I imagine theirs will use materials a bit more refined than my scavenged trashy containing system.
