…is a soil fertility study on the National Register of Historic Places running continuously since it was established in 1911 – which I visited before my lecture at the university museum tonight – a talk and visit interestingly co-sponsored and co-hosted by the School of Agriculture and School of Art –  the crop rotation field is planted with: 1) Cotton followed by Legume cover crop 2) Corn planted into winter legume; wheat planted in fall following corn harvest 3) Wheat harvested for grain in late May followed by soybean – that is .
